PELLET
(wooden pellets)

Pellet is a product produced by grinding wood, sawdust or other forest products into powder. The production process is achieved simply by bringing the powdered forest products to a certain moisture value (7-12%) and compressing them into a small cylindrical form with a diameter of 8-9 mm and a length of 25-30 mm.
Characteristics of Pellet Fuel
* Since its moisture content is lower than wood, its calorific value is higher. This means getting more warmth with less fuel.
* Pellet carbon dioxide emissions are very low and therefore it is an environmentally friendly fuel.
* No chemicals are used during the production phase.
* Increases combustion efficiency per unit mass. This ratio, which is around 65-70% in coal, is 90% in pellets.
* It creates very little ash after burning. (Max. 0.006)
* You do not have problems such as soot accumulation or clogging in chimneys using pellets.
* In addition to standard heating systems such as stoves, fireplaces and central heating boilers, it can also be used in specially produced pellet stoves and pellet heating boilers.
* It has higher calories than firewood.
* Since it is produced from wood production industry waste, it provides significant added value to the country's economy and environmentally friendly approach.
